It can be a part of the TG process to dispense with one's old, wrong-gendered name and find a new one.

I'm looking for a new female-gendered name to apply to myself. I know, I know, there are a lot of "baby name books" or whatever, but I'd prefer to use a slightly more human touch on this one.

what's your name now? Do you think your current name suits you at all? would a variation be approrpiate? I'd avoid Lola, dead giveaway.

Changing one's name is a rather personal thing. Finding one which matches you is hard unless people know you, personally. It's like someone buying you a pair of shoes without knowing your size. :)

I'm going with my name i would of had if i would of been born a female, Tiffany. If thats not an option just think long and hard on what name suits you best but make sure its a somewhat common name. The last thing as a Trans you want is your name to be a dead giveaway.

we need a description or pic, or something else from you to give you your true name I think!

I'm not TG but hate my IRL name. My best friend went through a baby namer, using the meanings to find the name that I'm known as between my heart family. No one else knows it. :D

Go with the meanings - you'll find one that fits best that way.

I might take Tiffany as a middle name. At the moment, i'm thinking of Claire for the first.
