just wanted to say i've been around final fantasy since i can remember and squall or cloud by far are my favorite characters, with a close close second from Kain from Final Fantasy IV

I have been a fan since the original game came out on Nintendo. I have the original ROMs for them! And still play them, when I get an opportunity.

The only FF's that I've played are Tactics(Didn't like it that much), FFVII (still one of the best games I have EVER played) FVIII(got halfway through and thought it was stupid) FIX(got halfway through again and got bored of it, good game though).

Haven't played FFX yet, since I don't have a PS2. But god damn FFVII kicked so much ass.

I have played every single 'official' Final Fantasy game, as well as Tactics and Mystic Quest. The ones I have yet to finish are 2, 3, 5, and 10.

Also, if you haven't heard yet, the first two games have been remade and will be released in North America around the end of next spring.

Yes. They changed the name to hide the fact that they fucked us out of two other games. Same deal with FF 3/6.

Also we got the easytype (read: retard) version. They seriously dumbed it down, removed a whole hell of a lot of skills and items, and made all the monsters about half as strong.

I think I have almost every FF game out in the US ... except Tatics (I not a big fan on stratage) & the FF GB games. I played Mystic Quest too, trade it in when I got rid of the SNES.

I think my fave ones are FF2 (FF4/jpn) & FF3 (FF6/jpn).

I have Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon too (but I haven't played it yet).

I have specifically not purchased a PS2, because of FF...I'd probably end up losing my job over it!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks FFX is kind of boring. I prefer to play a game instead of watching endless cutscenes.

And the voice acting is cheesy.

I love FF7 but I havent a chance to try the other games....I loved the movie though......which is amazing considering I don't like computer animated movies all that much.

FF7 was a great game, loved it on PS, the PC version is harder simply becasue of keyboard issues. Got to have one of those controllers!

I'm just now really getting into Final Fantasy. I started out playing Chrono Cross and Legend of Mana then got curious about Final Fantasy since it was Squaresoft too.

Last year my roommate got me Final Fantasy 8 and I got halfway through and traded it because it sucked. Then a few weeks ago I decided to try it again. I broke into my change jar and bought Final Fantasy 10 and 7 because I knew that they were both supposed to Kick ass. So now I'm addicted.
