My wife and I have been married for almost 10 years and she is starting to lose some of her inhibitions. From what I can tell and from what she tells me, she has has never masturbated and she will not do it for me. I do not know why, she will not explain why. I do not know what to say that will get her to try it. I think that if she would do it at least once she will like it. Why do you want her to do it so bad? For her pleasure, for your pleasure as a couple, or for yours?

If she doesn't want to try it, then that's the way it is. She might change her mind at a later time, like she did with using a vibe, but you can't make her do anything. It might be something that just doesn't appeal to her, or it might be moral reasons or something she was taught as a child.

Keep suggesting it every once in a while...but not constantly. Maybe during foreplay guide her hand to her down there and see what she does. Give her reasons why she might enjoy it, or how it could spice up your lovemaking. Suggest she try it alone first. But the bottom line is, if she's not into it, that's up to her.
