At the request of some readers of my stories who are visually impaired, I have been playing around with converting some of my existing stories into an audio version using Amazon Polly. This doesn't produce commercial-quality recordings, but I hope that it is good enough to use in a 'story-telling' format, where the text is simply read to the listener.

I am seeking beta 'listeners' who are willing to provide feedback on whether they got the same, or similar enjoyment from listening to the story as they did by reading it. The published story I have chosen for the test is "Before they were stars - Michelle Pfeiffer", and if you're interested in listening to the audio version, send me a message and I will reply with a link to the "We Transfer" site where you can download it.

The complete audio file is over 38K MB and runs for approximately an hour and twenty minutes, but I don't think that you would have to listen to the entire story to judge the quality.
