All I have heard or read for far too many years is the hatred that spews out from both sides towards the other. What this nation has become is a nation loyal to a political party not the Constitution. Politicians on both sides put out exaggerated statements that are designed to instill fear in the voter with the sole purpose being campaign contributions. We have politicians who were educated at our nations elite universities. Yet, they knowingly lie to us just to raise money and votes. What gets lost in this mess is the needs of our country.

We should demand more from our elected officials and stop giving them a pass depending if an R or a D follows their name.

Democrats always tow the party line, they vote the party line even if it goes against their own personal values. What Nancy says goes!

The Democrats are continuing to try to put through citizen-supportive laws and processes and the Republicans have dug in their heels over that for a decade and a half.

Dems are pushing a socialist agenda and are willing to deconstruct the constitution and traditional senate rules to force their socialist progressive agenda through with no concern for the other half of the country.

Dems want to abolish the filibuster rule for short term gains and an attempt to form a one party government. Dems have pushed 2 impeachments that basically followed along party lines using party majority tyranny. Voted in a 1.9 trillion dollar boondoggle of a bill, again, with no republican support using party majority dominance and a media that fawns all over dems using poll numbers that don't tell the whole story. HR-1 has zero republican support but passed the house and is on its way to the senate. This is a blatant attempt to federalize voting which is in direct conflict of the constitution and states rights. Dems detest states rights.

Dems used the filibuster rule over 300 hundred times last year because they were in the minority but now that they have the majorities they want to eliminate any ability for deliberative process and to maintain power for the foreseeable future while attempting to mold our constitution in ways to keep themselves in power.

It is just wrong to say the two parties are equal in their behavior.

You're right, the Dems are far more corrupt than republicans could ever be. Nancy is the most corrupt speaker in american history. Sleepy Joe and Nancy are compulsive liars and flip flop experts. Always vote to maintain power over ethical behavior.

It's not their fault really they're representing the concerns of their voters. It's the media's for covering fucking doctor suess more than a serious matter like our role in Saudi Arabia's war in Yemen. Again, nope. There's a gigantic difference in the responsible deliverance of governing between the Republicans and Democrats no matter how much folks try to equalize them. The Democrats are trying to deliver responsible government and maximum citizen benefit; the Republicans are just trying to establish minority rule--theirs.

My point is if all we do is react to to every stupid thing a politician says without holding them accountable at the ballot box we will forever end up with “leaders” who stand for nothing but will say anything if they believe it will get your vote.
