Feature Requests?

Hey,

I'm not sure if there's still active development going on on the literotica site anymore, but I was wondering if there's a place to put feature requests?

I really like the site, and it's a great place to put stories, but the one thing that kind of disappoints me is that you can't respond to the public comments left on your stories (unless you can? in which case, someone let me know how! hehe). This is something that at least a few other sites (like elfwood for example) let you do, and I think it would be a great way to get more constructive feedback on my writing. I've had/seen a few comments which basically boil down to 'it sucks', and it would be helpful to coax out of people why 'it sucks'.

Thanks!

You can respond to public comments, if the user has an account here, and they sign their name to the comment.

To respond, go to the page where comments are displayed. You can do this by clicking on the 'Read all comments' link on the last page of a story, or by going to the 'View submissions' page on your profile and clicking on the ''Moderate Public Comments' link for that story. Either action will bring up the comments for the story.

Then click on the name attached to the comment you want to respond to. You can then send them a note.

However the 'it sux' people are trolls. Don't take this the wrong way, but you're not special. The trolls do 'it sux' to everybody. Shakespeare could post his finest work here and the trolls would tell him 'it sux'.

And the trolls rarely sign their name.

Except in 'Loving Wives'. But we won't go there. And you would be wise not to as well if you value your sanity. ;)

So far as 'Feature Requests' go there isn't a formal mechanism to do so. You could get in touch with a writer you like through PM or e-mail and ask though.

Welcome to the AH, Helen.

Welcome to the AH, Helen. Was it one of your ancesters who invented condoms?

Anyhow, you can respond to an anonymous PC, if you want to, by adding your own PC. I don't know any other way to do it. Most of them would not be worth answereing, but some of them might.

Thanks for the welcomes!

And thanks for the advice, too :) I guess I was hoping that some of the critics were honest and not just trolls, but I guess we can't have everything ;) I will keep that in mind about responding to other authors through the literotica comment system, though. I hadn't actually thought of it.

And maybe an ancestor of mine invented condoms, but my characters sure have never heard of the things ;)
