Isn't is a great joy when you see readers like a story and then just keep reading other stories, and also tell you about it? This one was five in a row. The comments are all '4 hours' ago because they came through moderation, but the total length of stories is about 55K words, which would take a few hours all up. I'm sure there have been many all-nighters for some of the brilliant authors here.

I did all-nighters for college term papers years ago - on an electric typewriter! At my age I need my sleep, so whatever I put on Lit can wait until the next day.

Anyway, I'm impressed that the readers are responding so well to your stories, or at least @strawboy is. Often I just get crickets chirping. I'll have to look at what you wrote.

Oh, I get crickets often too! I'm still learning. But there are some writers here who are just wonderful at drawing people in and keeping them reading - I really admire them for that.
