Series pending moderation

I've started a new series. It seems that I didn't properly capitalize the name of the series, so I've changed the name (all words capitalized now. Not my style, but if that's what it takes...).
I resubmitted it a week ago and the status is "Your edit is pending moderation since 09/07/2026".

Is it normal to take a week (or more) for a series to be approved?

The first two chapters are already out (Pam 01 and Pam 02), but so far they are shown as individual stories instead of part of a series.
I'm still working on #3, but don't want to post it until the series is published.

I had a new series take a month to be approved once. I haven't created any recently though.

Edits go to the back of the queue, always. Editing lengthens approval time.

By how much? Could be days, could be weeks.

Given the way you've titled the first two chapters, you have no choice but to wait for your Series Title to be approved.

The site's automatic chaptering system won't work with your story titles.

For the automatic system to work you need to do this:

Story Title
Story Title Ch.02
Story Title Ch.03

or this:

Story Title - Annie
Story Title - Bobbie
Story Title - Charlie

It's an alphanumeric sorting sequence, but only works if the opening words are identical.

Another pro expert-by-experience tip: it won't appear anywhere at all if you forget to hit the "Publish" button.

I did... but because the title name was incorrect (not capitalized) I had to re-submit it

First thing I checked after a few days... it says "Your edit is pending moderation since 09/07/2026"

This happened to me recently with a pending series that took too long to publish.

Like you, I kept changing the details around, but nothing happened.

Eventually, I just left it alone and after a few weeks and it worked.

I know it seems like a very long time, but eventually the series was published.

So, if all else fails, I suggest just leave it alone for that long and see how it goes.
