Jeremy Brown, a self-described Oath Keepers member and lauded 20-year U.S. Army Special Forces soldier, was sentenced on Friday in Tampa to more than seven years in federal prison on weapons charges related to a federal investigation into his alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 riot in the U.S. Capitol.
Brown was arrested at his Tampa home on Sept. 30, 2021, on the charges of trespassing at the Capitol — but during a search of his RV parked on the premises of his home law that same day, enforcement officials said, they found two military grenades, two illegal guns, and a classified Defense Department document.

Josiah Kenyon, 35, of Winnemucca, Nevada, was sentenced to 72 months in prison, 36 months of supervised release, and was ordered to pay $43,315.25 in restitution. Kenyon pleaded guilty to two felonies - assaulting a law enforcement officer with a dangerous weapon and assaulting a law enforcement officer with a dangerous weapon resulting in bodily injury - on September 14, 2022, before U.S. District Court Judge Carl J. Nichols, in the District of Columbia.

Romance novel cover model who dragged Capitol officer on Jan. 6 sentenced to 3 years in prison

so, a serious assault on a police officer/s, being an integral part of the insurrection's violence, and only 3 years? fuck, they get off so lightly.

Here’s a harsher sentence, for a cop attacker.

Jan. 6 defendant who crushed an officer with a shield is sentenced to over 7 years in prison

Federal prosecutors sought what would have been the longest sentence to date — 15 years — for a Jan. 6 rioter who, defense lawyers say, “knew next to nothing" about the 2020 election. Patrick McCaughey III, who was dubbed #ThePinman by online sleuths, was present during some of the worst violence inside the lower west tunnel, the spot where presidents emerge during inauguration ceremonies.

The Zip-tie Guy and his mom have been found guilty of all charges.
Eisenhart and Munchel were previously indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit obstruction, obstructing of an official proceeding and aiding and abetting, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon (Taser), disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon (Taser), unlawful possession of a dangerous weapon on Capitol grounds or buildings (Taser), entering and remaining in the gallery of Congress, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.

just your regular touristy types on an afternoon stroll seeing the sights, right?

Prosecutors say the two wore tactical and bulletproof vests in the Capitol and Munchel carried a stun gun. Munchel also recorded their storming of the Capitol, and prosecutors say that video shows the pair stashed weapons in a bag before entering the building. A search of Munchel’s Nashville home turned up assault rifles, a sniper rifle with a tripod, shotguns, pistols, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a drum-style magazine.

and then there's this dickhead, who shot at deputies

A Texas man facing charges in the Jan. 6 riot opened fire last week on sheriff’s deputies who had gone to his home to check on him ahead of his scheduled surrender to the FBI, according to new criminal complaint.

Nathan Donald Pelham of Greenville, who initially faced four misdemeanor charges tied to the insurrection, now faces an additional felony charge of being a felon in possession of firearm following the April 12 incident, a criminal complaint filed this week shows.
The new weapon charge against Pelham will likely give federal authorities a quick way to keep him locked up before his trial. He could face other charges related to the shooting down the line.

lolol, he offered to take a polygraph denying he ever went inside, then said he was inside only about 10-11seconds (after they found text messages on his phone) and footage then showed he was inside at least 7 minutes.

DOJ official says he expects they will charge "hundreds" of rioters in the coming weeks

The Department of Justice has opened 170 subject files — meaning individuals identified as persons who potentially committed crimes — on rioters from the Capitol, Acting DC US Attorney Michael Sherwin said at a news conference today.

He said they have already opened "over 70 cases" and expect the number of individuals charged "will grow to the hundreds in the next coming weeks."

On the types of cases that DOJ is charging, Sherwin said, the "gamut of cases" and misconduct that they're looking at "is really mind-blowing."

"We're looking at everything from simple trespass to theft of mail, to theft of digital devices while inside the Capitol, to assault on local officers, federal officers both outside and inside the Capitol, to the theft of potential national security information or national defense information to felony murder and even civil rights excessive force investigations," he said.
Felony murder charges being applicable only because the Capitol police killed two of the protesters. That is going to really provoke an insurrection that really will get violent.

Has to be a new Scotty From Uruguay ID. Nobody else tries so hard to look so stupid.

You mean insurrectionists.

We hope they try again. Pew pew. ❤

Criminal charges

  • 931 defendants have been charged with entering or remaining in a restricted federal building or grounds, including 102 who face charges for entering a restricted area with a dangerous or deadly weapon.
  • 339 have been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding officers or employees, including 107 who face charges for using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer.
  • 308 have been charged with corruptly obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding, or attempting to do so.
  • 55 have been charged with conspiracy, including conspiracy to obstruct a congressional proceeding, conspiracy to obstruct law enforcement during a civil disorder, conspiracy to injure an officer or some combination of the three.
I searched up and down and I can’t seem to find any formal charges of insurrection.

When Trump gets re-elected I’m sure he’ll grant pardons, maybe grant pardons for individuals in the Biden crime family. :D

It doesn't need to be legally charged in order for someone to call it an insurrection. It meets the requirements ...a violent revolt of the government

Who said anything about "formal charges of insurrection"? 🤨

Make a wager on this or STFU. 🙂
He ran like a chicken the last time he was challenged to make a bet, but he got saved since it was in a BB thread, which got nuked upon that BB alt's banhammer...

Your recent post # 766 "YOU MEAN INSURRECTIONIST" would seem to indicate that some protesters on J/6 were formally charged with insurrection [ US code 18/ 2383 ], why else would you coin that phrase. Maybe you'd like to call grand larceny...MURDER!! because it sounds mo criminal...massage the narrative to sound worse so as to embellish your emotional insecurities. Like usual, you progressive marxist Trump haters suffering from *TDS ON STEROIDS* *FIRE FIRE HAIR ON FIRE* promoting lies and inaccuracies. If only you were so appalled by the riots that took place at Trump's inaugural or the 2020/2021 riots. Typical leftist selective poutrage.

We'll see, let's get through the primaries first. I want to watch the Biden/ Kennedy debates!.... What you say... There will be no debates!!! ROTFLMFAO!

The charge and conviction you're looking for is Sedition, which will show up real fast.......but you know that!
Sedition carries its own statute [18 US code ch. 115 ]. The crime of insurrection was the alleged crime stated [18 US code ch. 2383]

seem to indicate that some protesters on J/6 were formally charged
Protesters haven’t been charged with anything, because protesting is legal. The folks being charged are those caught being criminals.

Semantics, I called most… protesters…, leftist call them seditionist or insurrectionist. Leftist love to conveniently use the terms to embellish their fake emotional outrage. Riots for thee not for me. Hypocrites!

Obviously, otherwise no one would be charged with Sedition...however the burden of proof of charging is often the reason why some charges are levied over others. Saying Jan 6th was or was not an insurrection is a mute point. Claiming it was some rowdy tourist is fucking delusional...charges of Sedition move it far away from tourist getting out of hand, and even of a riot.

But please keep trying to minimise it, it's what you do best. One day you might become a man and admit it was another blotch in the USA's history.

Wrong. As has been pointed out to you Deplorables time and time again, someone can be an "insurrectionist" without being formally charged under the legal statute using that term.

Doesn't matter if you like it or not - it is what it is. Clear yet?

Maybe you'd like to call grand larceny...MURDER!! because it sounds more criminal

^^^
Everyone, please note that the side which spent decades trying to vilify political correctness regarding use of terms, has now spent the past 7 years begging for...you guessed it...political correctness. :ROFLMAO:

your emotional insecurities...you progressive marxist Trump haters...TDS...promoting lies and inaccuracies...leftist selective poutrage...ROTFLMFAO!

Wow - you got triggered badly.

Why did you get in the ring with me, then?

Poor Deplorable! 🤕
