Favourite cover songs?

This old gem came to mind. Has it really been 10 years? That’s so crazy.

Anyway, I love the creativity and the fun. They really put some effort in to this cover.

Jimi Hendrix’s cover of ‘All Along the Watchtower’
Judas Priest’s cover of ‘Green Manalishi’
The Stranglers cover of ‘Walk on By’

Polly by Seether
Daniel by Fuel
Somebody that I used to know by walk off the earth
Just to name a few

Alborosie and Raging Fyah's cover of "The Unforgiven

And Ángela Aguilar's cover of Como la Flor

"Bonus points" on Ángela Aguilar's cover of Cielo Rojo.
It's a cover of her grandmother's song. Grandma makes a cameo near the end of the video.

No list of covers is complete without at least one reference to Puddles, but I won't give the usual reference, at least not for now. :)

Stairway To Gilligan's Island - Puddles Pity Party.
This is a cover, of a mashup.
Even though the management for Led Zeppelin threatened the sue over the original mashup, Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin has later referred to the song as his favorite cover of Stairway to Heaven. So the 'suits' may have been made, but the actual artists loved it.

I can't believe I never saw this thread back in the day. Or at least didn't post to it. The absolute best cover of all times, in terms of changing the whole sound while keeping the theme is Devo covering Satisfaction.
