I'm going to piggyback off an awesome idea from @_Odette_ and thought we could share some of our favourite closing lines.

They could be poignant, uplifting, unexplainable, make you think "damn", whatever, let's have some fun with it. Bonus points if they close out an album.

We may have the urge to post a whole verse, but the idea here is one or two lines (the @Trekka disclaimer), not half the song (unless the verse is hella short). I'm thinking things like (no bonus points here)...

And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I know you were all hoping for Semisonic.

You can't always get what you want but if you try sometime, you just might find, you just might find that you get what you need.

Some Let It Bleed bonus points.

Presuming that all things are equal
Who'd want to be men of the people
When there's people like you?

I've always been crazy, but it's kept me from going insane
Nobody knows if it's something to bless or to blame
So far, I ain't found a rhyme or a reason to change
I've always been crazy, but it's kept me from going insane

When dignity is gone, that's when depression drags you under
To depths you didn't know, beneath the undertow.

"I got 350 heads on a 305 engine
I get ten miles to the gallon
I ain't got no good intentions."

- Zip City (Drive By Truckers)

Wandering I am lost
As I travel along the white cliffs of Dover

... I had a marvelous time ruining everything, a marvelous time ruining everything, a marvelous time, I had a marvelous time.

For all my T Swifties.
