As an early teen, I wanted to be called Liberty. My family indulged me and started calling me Liberty and I think it lasted about a week before I realised what a shit name that would be.

see, i was thinking this was an AH-type of poll, just randomly about favorite names. cuz in that case...

male: alexander and jason are both names i like. apparently, i prefer the greek heroes whose names were appropriated into western civilization. i also like the names rhys and sean.

female: i've got a weakness for names that are indistinguishably paticular to a given culture/language (e.g., ilsa, mireille, francesca). my all time favorites though are morgan, magdalena, alexandra, colleen & allison.

That's what I was originally going to go with, but I didn't want people suggesting baby names or cutesy crap, that's why the question was phrased personally.

If I have a favorite name, it's the one I gave to my second daughter. I'm pretty much okay with my name, though.

Greek names are pretty unless you get stuck with a handle like Vasiliki which hardly anyone will be able to pronounce unless they speak Greek. It's my friend's daughter's name. We just call her Vicki.

I've always been fond of Fiona or Millicent.
