For those of you who do not live in snowy areas - I offer for you an image of beautiful New England snowfall.
It is snowing buckets right now. When I walk outside, my hair becomes peppered with snowflakes and the snow crunches underfoot. For me, the experience is like being inside of a snow globe/paperweight. I'm wearing SCUBA gear.

Im loving it.

Twas a struggle to get out of bed this morning. Snooze alarm being a good feind. But the snow i finally spied has given me the morning to sip coffee.

It was snowing a wee bit harder earlier but its still coming down quickly enough to cover foot prints.

The trees on the mountains flanking me are stunning. If the sun comes out this afternoon, catching the fresh snow, it'll be quite a sight.

(Good snowball snow too)

I love the seasons....each one has something special to offer as well as it's challenges.

I'm hoping for a white Christmas....have had several snowfalls but nothing that's stuck around and kept the ground covered.

I love the snow in my hair and trudging through its depths in boots....but I've never warn Scuba gear.

Olivianna....what's the deal with the gear? Won't snow pants do?:)

I miss snow!

I grew up in Missouri and was use to the 4 seasons - with snow, and leaf falling, and warm spring days - and of course the hot summers!

Now I'm in Houston - and yesterday I was driving around with the top down on my new jeep! In a short sleeve shirt too!

It gets cold here (not as cold as up north, but cold) but the chances of seeing snow are very slim!! Maybe in January we will get some really light (have to look very close) snow, but not enough to even make a snowball!

I miss it! Share some more with me folks!

I grew up in the snow of long winters, and I don't miss not snow one bit. I don't miss the constant hastle that is caused by the fact that it is snowing or that it is on the ground.
