Anyone see Part One last night? (Of course, I'm in LA and other parts of the country may be getting it at different dates, or not at all.) It was a nicely done mix of dramatization (well written and acted) and contemporary documentary. I found a number of points fascinating, though I didn't really learn anything new about the theory itself. And I was disappointed that there was no real account of Darwin's 22 years at sea, only discussions of what he found on his trip.

Anyhoo, I found the mix of dramtization and documentary interesting, and very well produced. Not something easy to pull off.

I'm a total sucker for a documentary's, you take soap operas and stick em where the sun don't shine....give me a documentary any day.

with any luck we'll get it here to on the discovery channel.

lmao, gimme a Neanderthal with talented hands...

I don't know Bella, have we really evolved that far. I mean, how many times have you fallen for the big, dumb, blonde type? Lord knows I have.

(not that I would keep one, but they're sure fun to play with ;) )

Apparently I missed it - but from the description I think I have seen it already. PBS, PBSYou, Nat. Geo., TLC, History, and the Discovery channels are my favs for watching - along with SpeedVision (gotta have my speed!).

Last night the Disc. Health Channel had an interesting show called Phallacies. I caught the tail end of it as I was channel surfing just before hitting the sack. A show about phallic symbols, the penis, its function and so on.

Today there are a couple of interesting shows, 6PM to 8PM PDT; "The Human Sexes - The Language of the Sexes, Opinions of beauty and attractiveness vary throughout the world's cultures" and "The human animal, the biology of love; Internal cameras record the female orgasm". The former I believe I have seen several times, the latter I have not seen as I am sure I would have remembered that!:D I look forward to it though.:p

The above is for DirectTV - I don't know if the times coincide with other media such as cable or broadcast TV.
