It's in portland, in . . . march, I think chicklet said. I always want to go, but can't always. Who knows, though. Maybe this year.

It's a couple hour drive. I'd have to make a weekend of it and find a sitter. Might not be the worst idea, but god only knows what I'd tell people about the trip since everyone knows I hate driving in that town.

There are a LOT of people coming from Eugene. I mean, really nice wonderful people, who you could probably find a carpool with...
I wouldn't even know how to locate people with those interests in my community any more.
The drive is fine and I'd deal with it, it's just a matter of explaining why I'm going to Portland. Alone. To a town that I avoid like the plague. Though it might be worth it to see my mom's reaction.
