I am almost not a virgin anymore and I have a few questions before I become titled experienced!

1) What is a troll?
1a) Do I want one?

2) What are the changes that come with certain numbers of postings?
i.e. I know I become experienced after a losing my virginity but what comes next? When do i get to pick my own title?

I guess thats it for now! Im getting close...Only a few more till Im not a virgin anymore. I know I certainly wont regret it this time!

Hmmm Dill, I can't agree with this perspective. Yes, there are times when someone is trolled for representing their own thoughts and ideas which may not mesh with every single person at lit. However, your implication is almost that if one doesn't have a troll, they aren't being true to themselves. To this end, I can't agree. Many people post independent thoughts, their own ideas and are never trolled.

I also believe some people who have been vehemently trolled are true to no one, including themselves.

To answer the question, Kitte,
A troll is someone who does not have the balls to post in their lit id, but have great fun running someone down. They often target one or two posters who post openly and controversially.

I can't imagine wanting a troll.

At 100 posts, you gain an avatar.

At 1000 posts you gain a title.

The in betweens are simply changes in pre ordained titles.

no extra power comes with it, and trolls are assholes you don't want one.

There are many types of trolls and some of them are pranksters and some of them are actual members. It seems like such a novelty to have a troll and in hindsight, one desires a troll. Trolls bring excitement, stir shit, they make not only the troll itself paramount, but the very person they are "following."

Trolls can actually be people who are members that are afraid to taint their precious names or status. Trolls are just so many things and I surely would not be qualified to define it. Everything is relative and rarely an absolute, especially when pixels can assimilate humans, but never replace them.
