I think the wheel of 5th starters will be spinning again. Although he will get at least one more start I'm sure. Bats keep missing the ball is the bigger issue. The Ks are adding up in the worst way.

I still think Smth-Shawver is their best option,if/when he can get healthy.
May try to make a trade but not sure how much they want to give up though.

Still one quarter of a season.
Here’s the thing. In his career, the most games he played in one season is 69. He played 60+ games 3 times in 14 seasons.
Over 14 seasons, Gibson played a little over 5 seasons worth of games.
Even as a catcher with days off, he didn’t play six seasons.
To qualify for all of the averages, a player must have 3.1 PAs per game. I know they didn’t play as many, but it’s still not okay.

Yes they did and rookie Rafaela hit two HR’s and leads the team (and all rookies in the AL) in RBI’s with 33.
Tanner Houck goes to .500 and keeps his ERA under two.

He did incredibly well. I was surprised. Although hate for Winn to only get one at-bat.
A shame the Cardinals couldn't string together the win.
The Royals had a dumpster fire of an inning and lost too. But at least they made it interesting in the 9th
