Afternoon baseball Pirates @ Cubs

Really want to watch Skenes pitch,# 1 overall pick dominated the minors and touches 102 mph on his 4 seamer. But this isn't the minors lol.

Reports of Houston’s demise have been greatly overstated. They didn’t do themselves any favors with an awful month of April, but the Astros are playing much more like themselves right now. Only 5 games out of first in the West. I have a feeling the division could go Seattle’s way, but the AL pennant still runs through Houston until proven otherwise.

19-25 and won 5 in a row.They're coming.

Hell,he would've had a no hitter and about 16 k's if they'd left him in there......

Heard and interesting podcast in which some former MLB pitchers were talking about how long of a career he will have. Talking about the emphasis on pitch speed and things like that. Most were assuming he will have a bad injury and it will effect his career, I hope they are wrong. Not a Pirates fan, but I like his flamethrower pitching style

Funky deliveries can lead to multiple injuries/surgeries.

Usually if you're using too much shoulder/arm can lead to that,or some sort of over the top unorthodox delivery. But he looks balanced using power from his hips/legs no herky-jerky look so far.

That guy looked impressive yesterday.
