Anybody ever encounter moments or situations in real life that stoke or appeal to the dominant/submissive fantasy or thought, but aren't actually that?
I started thinking about this because of something that recently brought back an old, old memory from my early teens: when I was in eighth grade, two girls were bored and playing with a role of tape, and they taped their hands together (one girl's left to the other girl's right), so it was sort of like they were cuffed together.
They were just bored and goofing around, but that memory imprinted itself on me (we were all about 13) at the time and I didn't even know why it did. I just knew I thought about that moment for ages afterward.
Birthday spankings are another one, every so often all through my teen and adult years.
