Annoying quote. You know a guy thought of it. No doubt helped by the women who are only 'bi-curious' when a bunch of men are watching. Which makes me wonder how differently, if any, female sexuality develops outside the male gaze.

But, never mind. X2 had sex with three women before me and I was the only one who she had a 'first time' with sober. I understand alcohol (or the impression of being drunk) makes us bold but is sex really something to be frightened of?

Drinking puts me in more of a cuddling than a fucking mood but it seems I'm the minority in this regard.

Anyone else notice this phenomena?

anyone given enough alchohol will do just about anything.
:D

(certain exceptions do apply, void where prohibited. yadda yadda..)

This is aided, at least in my observations, by the encoragement of some males watching the drunken females.

Some people use it as a sort of cultural crutch. If its not sex, its something else..(mind blank)

"Oh I only kiss men when I'm trashed and can't remember what I'm doing..."

I've known a few women and heard of a few more who have had sexual encounters with other women after drinking.

It may be for a lot of reasons, they may use it to justify their actions after the fact (as Silverluna said), or it may be that after drinking their thinking changes somewhat so that they might make choices they otherwise would not.

It's a little too common for my taste.

I usually hate women like that, who will become bisexual in order to get a guy or in order to tease a guy, even though they'd never have a relationship with a woman or aren't even attracted to women. It's people like those attention seekers who fuel the stereotype.

And yeah, alcohol will bring feelings to the surface.

The only thing I get annoyed with are women who have a few drinks and think that because I like girls, I should damn well like them too til they sober up

personally i would prefer to be liquored up when i have sex with another guy...

(Phenomenon is singular)

Anyway, alcohol of course, lowers one inhibitions, or more specifically it allows you to do what you might've done anyway if you hadn't any personal, religious or societal hangups.

It also makes everyone look much more attractive than they really are.

Very True!

You mean my point is true or what glam said was true?

Because if a lot gay or GLBT people honestly believe stuff like that, then it totally blows thier own theories out of the water, about only being born one way or another, or not being able to "turn" or change from one to the other.

It has to work both ways or not at all (and no that is not a reference to bisexuality :D ).

Well, both, your point and Glam's. I sort of chuckled in the sense that I understand this to be "very true" in my observations at parties, gatherings, or football game get-togethers where I see some people's behavior (mostly guys) suddenly shift from "hard facade" to more sympathetic, plasy-walsy, huggy, bunch of little boys! After the first six or seven beers it's all inhibitions down. Myself, I just enjoy the buzz, ( and enjoy the view! Hehehe). So, I just meant this from a fluff sort of light humorous angle. :)

That's my excuse for sleeping with men....;)

Y'know, there have been criticisms of straight women getting off with each other while drunk, but I think that this has helped somewhat with the public acceptance of gay and lesbian women. No, seriously. I do. And I will explain why.

Firstly, it makes women kissing more common. This seems stupidly obvious, but it also a valid point: the more common something becomes the more likely it is to be accepted, providing there are no really big problems with it. As an example I point you to recreational drug use - people are far less likely to condemn it these days, not because it has suddenly become safe but because it has become more common. In a similar way, if people are exposed to girls kissing more they will accept it more.

Also, I wish guys would do this. Yes, straight guys kissing to attract girls cheapens my sexuality. Watch me cry as other men begin to accept that tongue wrestling with other guys isn't such a bad thing after all.

True, but then you get the reverse: a friend of mine has told me when the girls found out she was Bi they would no longer get changed with her in the change room, as if she was secretly perving on them all.

Because she likes women she must be wanting all of them

That's the dumbest crap ever. I hope she had a decent comeback, not that it would have necessarily helped. Sometimes it's just nice to hear a "nah, I have better taste in women that this".

Well, like I posted earlier, you should see guys after 6 ot more beers around the TV watching football! It's all ass slapping and crotch grabbing each other. Maybe it hasn't gone as far kissing each other, much less on the lips (Believe me, I wish it would!), but it definitely beats fighting each other. I really don't think public acceptance is ready for "men kissing on the lips" or much less "tongue wrestling" as you stated. So rest assured and save those tears, but you never know...

I don't think the general public is anywhere close to being ready for even chicks kissing, outside of showing off or taking dares in certain settings. Many still see it as an "in your face" kinda thing.

Drinking helps to loosen people up to do things they might not do in front of just anyone. Girls kissing to show off for guys has definitely become more acceptable in more places/situations. Most of these chicks won't take it much further. But a true lesbian/bisexual couple kissing is a whole different thing for most people still.

That's true Pookie. I agree the "general public" isn't quite ready for "that picture" to be in front of them. Oh, but it's ok if it's shown in farce comedy or tv/movie make believe. The land of "stereotypes." We just better not see this happen at the shopping mall on a Saturday afternoon! We still have longs strides to go for that reality!

The western society is like a phased cookie, they cum too quickly.

Yes it's a joke, that's precisely my point. If anyone thinks that most people don't mean such statements (like the one in the thread title) as a joke, then they need to cash a reality check.

Did you say it or not? If not, I apologize. No I didn't like it when you put words in my mouth either.

What fourth or fifth time? How many more times have I done it than you have to me or anyone else?

And bullshit I'm a nice guy. You're full of shit, otherwise you wouldn't be crawling up my ass right now, or at least it'd be in a PM.

I've honestly never had that problem. Of course, I think that's because half the people don't believe me, since I'm not running around sleeping with every woman I see.

the first girl i kissed was over us drinking a glass of wine each

we were both sober though ... i think part of it happens because generally when people are drinking their looking to relax or have a good time ... and those sorts of vibes tend to lead to things

at the same time...

If this were true, the women I know would have been all over each other and stuff..

They weren't much to my dismay. :(

I guess if I were drunk with them then it would have been different? But I enjoy being the casual observer too much methinks.
