My receptionist when collecting my e-mail off the computer (a while back when I didn't know how to turn off the e-mail notification)one day she asked why are there 142 bulk mail from Literotica. This is one I can answer. And the answer is Hell NO!

One day, while still a teenager, my family had to go out for a family portrait. When we returned to the house my parents room had been ripped to shreds by a thief. In helping clean up the mess, I came upon a fistful of B&W polaroids taken probably before my brothers were born. While they were tame compared to the porn available today, I handed them to my father without a word and continued to clean up.

I will admit my initial thought was "WOW! Mom was a real fox when she was younger". But its their business, not mine so I said nothing and my Mom, who saw me hand the photos to dad turned 8 shades of red, but said nothing.

My advice to anyone wanting to post a personal pic avatar upon hitting their 100th post is to simply post one that doesn't show the complete face. Its your most recognizeable feature. But I can fully understand those that do not want to be recognized. Living in a small community like I do, one person seeing the photo and next thing you know, the whole town knows. Or the company.

The internet provides anoniminity if you want it, some do, some don't. But even to those that don't want to remain unrecognized, I'd still advise caution. There are a lot of crazies out there, and you really don't want to attract their attention.

Only thing I'd worry about is issues with my employer, and hell they're aware of the other stuff I do (It's no conincidence that my vacations ALWAYS match with major leather festivals and pagan fests!) so I doubt they'd worry about Lit

Employers would be a problem. Before moving to Idaho I worked in a field which routinely required in-depth security checks on employees. Now that I'm self employed and owning my own business, I can afford to relax a little more than I could previously.

Being gay or kinky isn't really the issue that it once was. Especially today with people hooking up for more long term relationships.

On the other hand, sex in espionage has a long established history that goes back 1000s of years. Its not easy to break with traditions like that, especially for security officers whose prime requirements are steadfast inflexibility.

I agree that if people could get over being upset about what happens behind closed doors, it would go away, but to be honest, this has about as much chance as happening as a blizzard in Miami.
