I was wondering what exactly the difference between soft porn and hard porn, what is erotic and what's pornographic? Is there a clear line when you look or read something and know right the way if it's erotic or pornographic? Or it's all just smut to you?

pornography
Sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal

smut
a. Obscenity in speech or writing.
b. Pornography.


So, there are differences, media and context related.
