Just wondering if anyone out there can pass on to me the titles of some steamy books that I might look for at the library. I enjoy nothing more than a good read but can't always afford to buy new books. I am bisexual but enjoy books with almost any type of sexual content. I thank you in advance for your input.

I like Marco Vassi's stuff. It's mostly from the 70s/early 80s, but highly erotic stuff.

Sebastian Faulk "Bird song"

These, I don't think you'll find in the library.....

"Vox" by Nicholson Baker

:Fermetta" By Nicholson Baker

"Watch your Mouth" By Daniel Handler

"Feast of Love" by Charles Baxter

but they're good.

Keep em Coming!

Thanks for some quick replies. Obviously I am not looking for online stories like at Lit but actual books that might seem mainstream to someone seeing me read but are in fact little treasures to wet my sexual appetite. Keep em coming -- maybe let me know what the book is about too. I've especially found it hard to find good novels about female love.

I thought Anne Rice's Vampire novels were pretty good. And along those same lines, I just finished a book by James Reese (a first effort) called "Book of Shadows". The main characters were an Incubus and Succubus. It may not appeal to everyone. There are some dark moments, in an otherworldy sort of way...
But then again, I like that genre...

Try "Tipping the Velvet". Forget the author's name but we read it in my book group and it had loads of girlie sex in it. It was made into a minseries on the BBC but I didn't catch it (don't usually care to see films/TV made from books I've read as it spoils the image I have in my head of the characters, settings, etc). Not the best book I've ever read, but readable.

Bed Time Stories

Hey Crimson, why don't I just come on over and read you a bed time story. I'm sure I could find something in my little book collection to titiliate you! Drop me a line.

If you haven't read them ...

Try Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty Series

At the risk of stating the obvious, "Delta of Venus", by Anais Nin.

You know? I didn't find these stories sexy, but rather sad, actually. I mean I know for the time they were written they were quite outre, and all that, but the thing is, they are sex on the surface, but raging pathos and dysfunction underneath. Well written, I'd say, but not a turn on.

Thanks Peachy

Thanks for the input Peachy. Sorry to see you removed your pic but I will look for your suggested reading. Thanks a bunch.
