Endless Ends

Lalo? Levlo? Idk. πŸ˜‚

Starts with an L, pretty sure.

Sleek, little black and white number.

Now see, if I could FIND THE BOX I could tell you! πŸ˜‚

*hyperventilates some more*
Well find your toy and then find your box. :p

I....

I really have no idea what to say.

That was practically poetic, Boo. πŸ˜‚:rose:
Hey, I'm just here to provide entertainment. But I'm all about being a poet too. :p ❀️

Today I do 3 weeks of neglected yard work in one day.

I say yard work, but is that what it's called if it's a handful of acres?

If I don't show back up, know I've died in greater glory for the pasture. :p

*zoom*

All work and no play . . . Enny, here's a reason to take an afternoon nap next Wednesday so you can stay up late that night:

"One of the strongest meteor showers of the yearβ€”the Geminidsβ€”is currently active and will reach its peak on December 13 and 14 . . . This year, the moon is expected to be only 1 percent illuminated, meaning it will not interfere with Geminid visibility . . . Under a dark sky with no moon, stargazers may see up to 120 Geminid meteors per hour."

"The best time to see the Geminid meteor shower is at about 2 a.m. on the night of December 13 and 14, but the shooting stars will be active until December 24 . . . Give your eyes about 30 minutes to adjust to the dark in order to best see the show."

Oooooooh. I'll be out of town the 13th, but Thursday will work.

*bounces*

I'm excited. I hope I can see it well. :cattail:

* * *

Now. Off to scrub walls. :p

It's official.

I've searched every box in the house.

WHERE IS THE DEVICE

I'm starting to think it got bored and ran off in search of some excitement.

Also official.

I now have one week to figure out where it might be. Part of which I'll be out of town.

One week.

One.

So sad. My house is actually in a fairly dark sky area, but since my wife is doing chemo up in northern Virginia, we’re staying up there and there are no dark skies in NOVA.

You should get AirTags for that kind of stuff.

Not that I take my own advice. I hate looking for shit though. It’s one of my least favorite things to do.

Good luck in your search.

Huh. It would have never occurred to me to Airtag a . . . personal anxiety-reducing apparatus. Is that possible? Maybe the box. πŸ€”

Huh. Again. I am now wondering if I could tag ALL the things I lose continually. Like, keys, phone, reading glasses, phone.

Did I mention phone? :p

They're probably to tech-y for my luddite brain, but -

*toodles off to price AirTags*

Because not halting life to search for my phone 10x a day would be life changing. πŸ˜‚

Enny, didn't I see you in this place, sitting at the bar, many years ago in Houston ???

I understand it's under new ownership, and is undergoing refurnishment.
*blinks*

The white door is the entrance to a dance club where illicit cocktails are served to a crowd dressed like flappers? The half-hidden blue door a second entrance to an illegal gambling den?

Like some neo noir version of an offbeat speakeasy.

The more I think about this the more appealing it sounds. πŸ˜‚ πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I can't speak for the white door and what's behind it . . . but the blue door? No gambling, but Marfreless was a unique bar many, many years ago. I wouldn't know about it's old reputation as a "make out bar", as I was just passing thru and checking it out. The low level lighting did lend credence to an element of privacy.

Are you sure that wasn't you sitting at the bar that night?

Pretty sure, not.

Considering I've never heard of the place. :p

Which, how is that possible?!

This place is famous. 🀯

"The Infamous Lounge of Love"

Much online, but here's a quickie article on the history and why there is no sign.

ALL IS CLEAR

I must rope in The Bestie and visit this den of inequity. πŸ•ΆοΈ
