A while back, a bunch of stuff got boxed up and shuffled into one room to allow construction work in other areas of the house. As I’ve gone all chaste, my vibrator was part of the stuff.

Or so I thought.


People are coming for part of the holiday, so I’ve been busily putting the place back together. Boxes have been cleared. No apparatus.

There are people coming. People. People I don’t want accidentally finding…you know, stuff.

Honestly, I would rather die.

I think I’m in the midst of a sexistential crisis.

Not too far in the past, three inch heels were de rigueur two or even three three times a week. Dinner, cocktails, some entertainment event. There were even a couple of five inch heels hanging about.

(You know, for those occasional must-have-five-inch heel moments. )

That was of course, downtown, pre-Covid living. These days I schlep around half the time barefoot.


Tonight, important dinner out. Upscale dressing. Black tie.

Three inch heels.

My feet are dying. Dying.

Huh. The Dresden Files (Jim Butcher) was made into a Series in the late aughts.

It’s rather loosely based on the main character, but if you take that into context, the show is reasonably entertaining. I like the actor who plays Harry. He suits.
