Haha the entire thing is just so weird but kind of facinating. Have you seen this one? I say we book club this one and talk about it.

I’ve never seen it, but I have seen Sean Connery in his ball-wrapping wardrobe from this movie. That told me to stay away.

But I’m in to the book club!

I need to watch it again. I suspect some of the *finer* points slipped past my notice the first time around. Not an uncommon occurrence when one's jaw is on the floor. There are many questions I have about this movie. One is how on earth did Sean Connery manage to get roped into this role!


It also has Charlotte Rampling, who I've always thought was crazy hot.

I heard the Pina Colada song yesterday.

(Technically it's called Escape, I think. )

I remember hearing it when young, and liking it for the catchy tune. It wasn't until YEARS later that I actually listened to what was being sung.

Speaking of, it seems Burt Reynolds was originally cast as Zed, but had to drop out due to an illness. Connery took his place. (Tough time getting jobs due to being type cast as Bond.)

At least, that's what the DECIDER says. Never heard of them, but I'm sure they're a credible source.

They also mention a couple of spoilers. If that is even possible. I'm still not entirely sure what this movie is about.
