Endless Ends

In general I don’t find guys to be sexually attractive. But certain types of guys/media can be arousing.
This happens to me with women. Some pictures erotic, but not necessarily. And I'm not entirely sure it goes as far as arousing, but it's certainly pleasurable.

Either I can an aspect of myself in her beauty or I see something I find feminine: a rounded curve, a slender limb, the smooth expanse of a dƩcolletage.

The point of the ad is sex and it shines through. As in, I don’t want to make out with him, but that shot makes me think about sex.
This is the reason for my original suggestion of putting this comment in The Gaze.

My assumption on this subject raised in that thread has been that I'm simply not overly visual. This conversation has brought the realization that, while that may be true, most of what's out there is catered to the male view and it simply doesn't catch my attention.

Often, when I've scrounged for something to put in that thread, it leaves the, ah, usual viewing male suspects, underwhelmed. 🤣

The pictures I post aren't overtly sexual, i.e. little to no nudity.

I think this ties to @Apisto's comment. In that I don't necessarily want to make out with then, but something about them makes me think of sex.

Which ties into the whole duality of the images posted above. One is meant to attract gay men. The other is meant to make straight men feel masculine. Both directed towards men, in entirely different ways.

The images I gravitate towards are more likely the latter, because the straight male masculinity is what I find appealing.

I am now realizing how deprived my life has been of objectification visuals. 🤣

This is quite verbose but interesting as hell: the gist is that the "real" molecules that used to give perfumes their soul are now outlawed and new molecules research and approval is too spendy for small perfumers who want to do niche. Mass industry relies on cheap and safe and successful molecules that are, in years, increasily "all the same".
This was incredibly informative and I found her delivery delightful.

I want a bottle that sits out on the counter and intimidates the other bottles with a scent that is not entirely polite!! :p

Scent came across my radar a couple of years back and I became curious. Her talk, I think, explains some of the struggle I keep running up against.

Most perfume, to me, cost regardless, has an underlying . . . the best way I can describe is tang, that I don't care for. It's endemic. I'm now wondering if it's ambroxin and company I don't like. šŸ¤”

Too, I've become more and more particular as to what I put on my body, so I looked at organic or cleaner options. Top tier perfume houses aren't transparent as to ingredients (trade secrets) and both midrange and luxury may use synthetic fixatives like phthalates.

Higher end niche and artisan perfume options are limited, and the scents don't cling. The best so far, by far, has been Henry Rose. EWG certified, and they have a new fig-based scent called London 1983 that is quite scrumptious.

But, their scents still have a similar underlying note. Different than the one mentioned above. Turns out EWG certified scents only pull from a pool of about 300 ingredients, so have less diversity. Plus, Henry Rose deliberately formulate scents with the idea of layering.

It's a conundrum. I don't like the underlying similarity.

I mean, I guess it's not like I need lots of scent choices.

But if I'm going to wear anything I want it rich, body clinging, head turning. A dense extrait. With a bottle that screams - no, flaunts, decadent.

Because I'm slutty like that. 🤣

Do you have a favorite?
I do but... I don't know the name of it. A good few years ago a friend of mine shared a bottle of Champagne from the village where he grew up, and it was very dry. I think it was his birthday or something. Anyway, I said I'd have a glass, but just to say "thank you" for the gesture, because I didn't like Champagne. Apparently I was wrong :ROFLMAO: The four of us polished it off tout suite 😁 But even if I'd taken note of the name at the time, with my memory I would have forgotten it by now.

This is how I feel about sexy guy pics. Sort of.

As the Winner of several consecutive Heterosexual Awards, I’m comfortable sharing that I can find a guy sexy. But it’s not like I want to get down on my knees in front of him, as much as I might like what I see there. 🤣

Meaning, it’s based more on envy—I wish I had hair like that—If I had those abs, I’d never wear a shirt—I wish my ass was all muscles like his—Look at that package!—I wish my skin was so perfectly tan and flawless—that kind of thing.

I can get aroused because I think of all the sex that guy must have and how can I not get aroused thinking of all those women who could ogle me if I looked like that? šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Now before everyone comes to my defense, I already know I’m perfect as I am. Believe me, I’m totally into me. But still, don’t we all want more than we have? 🧐

Hot bodies are hot bodies. Our definitions of ā€œhotā€ all differ, and that’s okay, that’s why it’s fun to look!

EDITED: for content. 😜

So you get turned on by those Harbor Freight commercials? 🧐
Harbor Freight does commercials? 😳

Perhaps your previous experience had been with Prosecco?

I've noticed, for some weird reason, the names are occasionally used interchangeably. Americans drink more Prosecco than Champagne. It's sweeter, more fruit forward, and cheaper.

Also gross. 🤢

Thou art so very graphic. 🫣

Huh. Interesting. I don't feel envious. I just go all dreamy.

Champagne is only made in the Champagne region in France.
Prosecco is basically Italian Champagne
Cava is Spanish.

All quite similar, ranging from sweet to dry, white to rosĆØ.

Nice in cocktails.
I've never had Cava.

I'm not sure I've even seen Cava, now that I think about it. šŸ¤”

So, as a reminder. :p

I've been working on rehabbing a small, 100 year old farmhouse. With, hopefully, a solid nod to its original aesthetic.

This one small closet has been something of an black hole. It's pulled from the roof space, and it's small, awkwardly shaped, and absurdly deep. After, finally, deciding on a design plan, I went to work.

A lot of work. You know how in old houses sometimes have old shelves that have seen so much use they feel smooth as glass? I wanted to mimic that sensation, so lots of sanding. To begin, and in between every coat of . . . everything. 🤣

Constant issues. šŸ™„

I've already had to strip things down and start again twice. Last night I'd put the last coat of stain on and was waiting for it to dry enough to sand.

šŸŒ§ļø

Out. Of. Nowhere.

I dashed to the porch, but sure enough, the bare three minutes of rain blew inward. It looked like a cat had walked half the wood.

That is why today, the dining room table is covered in tarps and only the sanding happened out on the porch.

On a mores sparkly note, I broke a bone recently.

That is not the sparkly part. šŸ˜

This is not uncommon. I have broken several toes over the years. Klutzy, and fine boned. But mostly klutzy. šŸ™„

This time is a worse. A big toe, both phalange and metatarsal. Not displaced or anything, just wildly annoying.

I stumbled across this article on red light therapy speeding up break healing.

šŸ’”

I have a break.
I have a red light mask and dƩcolletage.
I expect to sit on my fanny shortly.

Checked, and sure enough, the wavelength is correct.

I will try this.

After a nice long shower, and a French 75. It's been that kind of week.

Expect a report. šŸ˜Ž

Besides making us fantasize about your boobs, what pray tell was the point of saying the latter half of that sentence?
Expect a report. šŸ˜Ž
I would hope this report includes a working emoji of the bolded word above. Graphics always help liven up a wordy report.

Becauuuuuse.

A red-light mask has eyes and mouth holes. The red-light dƩcolletage is flat, has no holes, and is wrappable. Thereby I can wrap it around the, ah, bone in question.

So there. *flips hair*

I have a posted a dƩcolletage before. *hmmph*
