Also, King set the story as what if "Dracula" came to his hometown. There were characters resembling Renfield and the ship arriving from Europe to a remote port. The secluded setting in Maine worked later for 30 Days of Night set in Alaska...what happens when the victims are secluded from normal society?

Also... I'll stop nerding out. I had to actually take a class on vampire lit and cinema. ..it's a long story.

30 Days of Night? That movie had far less plot holes, in my view.

At a certain point, you have to ask “what the hell are we doing?”! 🤣
The Fly, the musical, is just not where I would expect full frontal nudity 🤔

I hope it wasn’t a scene so gross that the nudity couldn’t be enjoyed…
