Endless Ends

That's it. I'm moving back to the city.

Last night I wandered into the laundry room.

To find a visitor. A five-foot long visitor. 🐍

Five. Feet. Long.

Based on the soreness of my throat this morning, I'm going out on a limb and saying there might have been screaming.

Fortunately the SO was around. And the snake turned out not to be venomous.

I may never sleep again. 😳

Poor nope rope. It's probably been protecting you from that rabid half pound rat that's been crawling on your comforter at night.

Time to start insulating. Spray foam, steel wool, whatever ‘ya got!

Maybe a pet Gorilla to kill the snakes?

Ok guys...there probably aren't any rats... because the opossums have likely claimed their territory. I remember the baby possums that broke into my trailer back in the day preferred the warmth of my Mrs lingerie drawer. Still....Mr snek was just trying to perform a public service.

THERE ARE NO RATS.

*shudder*

I have to live here. At least temporarily. 🤣
There are no rats. And that was the only snake.

And now it knows that your house isn't a good place to visit. He won't come back. You are safe.

(I showered in the upstairs guest bathroom for a month after I heard about a snake in the crawl space. I gift you the affirmations I still use.)

I  you on so many levels.

I had a an accident the other day and suffered a mild break. Meaning I'm moving a little slower than usual at the moment. You should have seen me descending the stairs this morning at a trepidatious limp.

Though, oddly, my injury had little effect on the speed at which I clambered on the dining table last night. 🤔
