I think this might be the only approach that would work for me watching a horror movie on my own.

Another way is if there's a bunch of eye candy.

Sometimes I turn the volume way down so the atmospheric music doesn't scare the bejeesus out of me.

Another way is if there's a bunch of eye candy.

Often the only reason I watch any kind newer horror. By newer, I mean not black and white.

I must have seen Deep Blue Sea (1999) a hundred times. Simply because I was going through a period where I thought Thomas Jane was .

I turn the volume back up for the non-intense scenes. The music gives me anxiety if I'm alone. lol

The other day my sister met one of my friends. Later I said "don't you just love her?" She said, "She's loud."

There are occasionally strange crashes on the farmhouse roof.

Always at night. No obvious reason.

There are never any branches down or any visible damage. Even my SO - Who has a logical explanation for everything, because he has engineer brain. - has no clue what's happening.

These incidents have been ramping up this last year or so.

I am more and more convinced that it's a werewolf.

And that it's messing with me.

That would be prior to, you know, it ripping me apart one night as I lie sleeping.

I have started sleeping with a sword under the bed when the SO is out of town.

Yes, I have a sword.

No, do not ask.
