Email problem

Hi, could some tekkie help me with this? I'm being bombarded with emails from MAILER-DAEMON@yahoo.com. All with the same message and all from the same sender, whom I don't know. I think I can just block that address, but I've tried sending myself email and they're not getting through. The odd thing is the TO address isn't even my address. It's @es.co.nz and not @ihug.co.nz

Could you tell me the best way to deal with this problem? Should I reply to MAILER-DAEMON@yahoo.com and ask them to stop forwarding me email from this person or simply try and block them? I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

ok, your going to have to open one of the emails up.. most likely, it Is an email your sending {some email sites, have 2 emails for some stupid reason, it hought it was only dsl, but maybe not?} anyway.. it sounds like osme of the emails your sending are wrong. i used to get those mailer daemon emails all the time when i was trying to email my husband and the email to his ship was turned off {hes a sailor inthe us navy}

first off your AV creeps the fuck out

second if you copy and paste what one of those emails say i could tell you what to do...i used to work for the #1 ISP in the world and fixed stuff like this everyday

Don't open anything that is attached. There is a chance it is carrying a virus.
Just delete them all, you are going to get more, as they will bounce back to you till they stop sending it.

yes i agree that he shouldnt open any attachments...but the TO address isnt his which means its spoofing and since the mail he sends himself doesnt get to him that means his box is being filled...it wont just stop...he is going to have to block the address

Thanks. It seems to have stopped for some reason. I never open any attachments but it didn't have any. I've deleted them all but if I get another one I'll sent it to you redfunguy and you can see what you think.

I did virus and mallware scans, and emailed my isp about it. Maybe they did something.
