Electro Stimulation

I realize electro stimulation has a number of medical uses. I am considering it to help with lower back nerve pain. However, I also have been made aware that it is used to stimulate orgasm and enhance sex. Apparently this has been a common practice for many years now.

For those of you who have used this method, how does it work for you? Since I am in the early stages of research on this, I'd like to know from men and/or women, how the stimulation feels and how it compares to other modes of stimulation/orgasm. How do you incorporate this type of stimulation into sex?

I couldn't find anything on electro stimulation in the search feature. I thought there might be some stuff in the bdsm section, but haven't located it. If you have any links from the forum, please don't hesitate to let me know about them.

I realize there are a number of safety risk to using devices like these and will certainly apprise myself of those risks long before trying it. I know one of the main things is to never use it above the waist.

I remember reading something awhile back involving a surgically implanted electrode in the female spine that triggers orgasm, but it seems more a last ditch, clinical solution than a recreational one. I have played around with TENS and there are some creative things that can be done, just don't stop anyones heart for the sake of fun.
