If you were in a country where you played your tv with the windows opened, or were walking the street at night and had a tattoo or had upset someone who knew a gang member in jail, you’d be arrested and incarcerated in some of the worst prisons in the world.

While you can look at the stats and see that crime and murder rates have dropped significantly, let’s not pretend that this has fixed any of the issues in the country. If anything you’ve just centralised two of the biggest street gangs in the world
