A few Halloweens ago, I said I wanted to dress my dog up in a dalmatian suit since I was in Cruella Deville attire. I took extreme measures to ensure that Tigger didn't get the opportunity to say hello to Ms_Logic. Speaking of costumes, Tigger looks a little like Hannibal Lecter with the muzzle on.

(For those who don't know, I met Shy-n-Sexy earlier this year and within five minutes of her walking into my home, my dog bit her right on the lip. We spent the night in the emergency room waiting for a cosmetic surgeon to stitch the wound.)

Images like these two would stay on this thread where the pictures are partly of me, but the girls would have their own place to share images taken by me.

In cases like yours, where you already have a fully fleshed-out picture thread, your images would go there unless you wanted me to post them on my "presentation" thread.

I do worry that after posting these two that I will be labeled as the guy who uses the photo excuse to fuck the girls he shoots. In fact, I think the opposite is true: I have more fun with the picture taking and photo editing and I probably use the sexual innuendo to get the pictures. (How backwards is that? I like this thread idea. I would most likely subscribe, but would they still fit under the umbrella of amateur photos? What exactly does "Amateur Picture" mean? That the model is an amateur or that the photographer is?

The Online Etymology Dictionary describes the word amateur as meaning "one who has a taste for (something)," or "lover of." Amateur photographer would thus mean "a lover of photography," and doesn't necessarily mean that the photographer works for money. In my opinion, a professional shooter works primarily to earn an income. While I will be trying to make some money selling prints as I travel, the shots I might create for this thread idea would be strictly amateur and only if the model and I agreed on the use of the photos in this manner.

Now, if any of the models want prints of the shots, that's a different story. I can't give away photo paper and ink - that shit is expensive!

I always assumed the "Amateur" in "Amateur Pic" applied equally to subject and photographer. Yet I don't see any reason why pictures taken by professionals of professionals, offered for free, couldn't be posted here. Such pictures would probably look like all the other porn out there on the internet (yes, it's true! you can get pictures of MODELS for free on the web! wow!), but they'd still meet the definitions of "amateur."

Well, I don't know about that. The threads with the most posts aren't necessarily the ones with the best pictures or the hottest girls, unless those girls are also entertaining their audience with daily "g'days" and "thank yous."

Since we already know I'm not that kind of thread host, it would be up to the featured girls to provide entertainment on a daily basis. If they're up for it, then yes, the thread could have a life of its own.

Hmm, now that I think of it, a thread with multiple girls as the models instead of a thread devoted to just one individual might be very popular. We'd only have to work out whether I would post the images or let the girls post them as they see fit, or a combination of the two, depending on the desires and/or internet server capabilities of the model. Simply attaching them to the posts has proven to be a non-starter as Lit will (seemingly) randomly remove attached files without notice, but linking to the files from a remote server seems to be fine no matter how extreme the content. (I doubt seriously that I'd take any pictures that would be considered obscene - those have been done to death and I'd like to try to elevate the level of smut found here to a slightly higher level while keeping it "amateur.")

Also, I'll have to ascertain the willingness of the model to use her Lit name or yet another "stage name" for the pictures. I think some people wouldn't mind posting pictures, but they may have already divulged too much personal information using their Lit name and might worry about the repercussions of posting tasteful nudes under that persona. You don't have to be patient or nice to host a thread. Ekserb here has one, and you know how he is.

Seriously, though, I disagree that being "nice" is necessary to keep a thread alive. If a thread has pictures of hot scantily-clad or naked women, it will keep going like the Energizer bunny. That's all that's necessary. Human nature does the rest.
