Okay, it's uploading to the server now and should be available for your viewing pleasure by the time you read this.

The file is kinda large (almost 17MB), so I apologize to the dial-up users out there. I added a music soundtrack to this one and I used the default iPod compression, so the frame rate is very smooth but it makes the file bigger. The downloaded file should play in iTunes when double-clicked, but you can also play it in Quicktime Player (I verified both). iTunes recognizes the file as a video podcast (.m4v).

If anyone has problems playing the video please let me know.

I assume you're using a Windows computer, so make sure you're using the latest version of Quicktime for Windows. I believe you need the latest version to use the newest version of iTunes. This file is the equivalent of a podcast so it will launch and play within iTunes if you have it installed.

Quicktime and iTunes are free to download and use.

I'm so glad everyone is able to view the new video. It was very easy to export into this format and now that I know it works well I'll keep it in mind for any future movies. I just wish I could export at full resolution, but that file would be about 100MB and no one would want to download it. Maybe someday when everyone has 12Mbps broadband or faster, but for now I'll try to keep them small.

I can't promise that I'll produce anything in the near future, but any suggestions for new scenes would be appreciated.

I tend to thank them and go back to doing whatever it is that I was doing. Lately, I've been doing a lot of picture taking in South Florida whenever I have a day off from work.

I have family in Flordia ... Clearwater to be exact. Been a long time since I've visited ... miss the beaches the most. Unlike the beaches here, rather dirty but its all we got so its tolerable at best

What part of Texas? I was stationed at Fort Hood (Killeen, TX) for a couple years when I was in the Army and I remember going to "the beach" there. Being a Miami native it was hard for me to get into the pebbles that passed for sand and the cool lake water. I'm just so used to white sand and warm ocean that it just made me homesick to swim in the lake.

I'm in San Antonio, been here all my life, was born in Georgia tho ... comes from being an Army brat lol

Oh there is no comparssion to the beaches in Fl ... swimming in a lake does not even come close, although there are some beautiful lakes here, nothing like the beach

I'm definitely going to be driving through San Antonio when I start traveling. I spent a little time there when I was in TX, but there are so many places in that state that I want to take pictures of that it will take me some time to get them all. West Texas was desolate and dusty and barren, but the simplicity of it begs me to return. I also liked the rolling green hills of Austin.

I can't wait to start my road trip!

It all kicks off when I sell my home here in Miami. As soon as I get the cash from the sale I'm going to quit my job and start traveling. It all depends on the real estate market.
