Having found my way here through the notorious "Hottest women on Lit" thread, I am bound to say in all honesty that your pictures are outstanding. Each image invokes a whole world of thoughts and emotions. You're clearly a gifted photographer (and yes, there is hotness here as well)--great sense of composition.

I liked the racetrack shot, too.

You're welcome. I actually was motivated to go through the whole thread, not so much for titillation's sake (well, not solely for that reason), but in order to learn more about what equipment you use and how you set up your shots. I started my thread on a whim and found myself intrigued by the process of making images. 99% of the things I take don't come out to my satisfaction, but the ones that do give me a great deal of satisfaction. I'd like to learn more, although at this point I don't want to spend much money on a better camera.

Thanks for sharing your non-erotic work as well, and good luck with your blogging venture. And the videos simply left me speechless. Words rarely fail me but these were astonishing. No technical problems with them, btw.

Did you find what you were looking for? I think I have mentioned my camera equipment on here at one time or another, but if you have any specific questions I'll happily answer them.

As for buying a new camera, you needn't do that unless you are really into it as much as I am. I have seen stunning images that were shot with a camera phone and I've seen real crap that was taken with a $7000 Canon DSLR. Use of available light, composition and a creative eye are all that is required for a good photo. If you ever do shop for a new digital camera, find one that has as good a lens as you can afford. In other words, don't buy a camera based on the pixel count alone. A 10MP camera with a slow plastic lens isn't any better than a 5MP camera with a clear, fast piece of glass attached to it. Any good compact zoom camera can take amazingly good pictures that you can print up to 20 inches across, and they are usually around $350-$600.

Some of the images on this thread were taken with my first real digital camera, an Olympus C5050Z compact zoom with a 5MP sensor and nice f1.8 optical zoom lens. I bought it new for about $500 in 2001, I think. The newer models are, of course, better and cheaper.

First of all, I need to start off by saying that this mans dogs are 100x more precious in person than they are in pics or videos. Thanks to him, I now need to own a beagle.

Him and I had the pleasure of meeting a few nights ago after I lost a silly and ridiculous bet (I should have known better). Any how..what you see is what you get with him which is a breath of fresh air with all the fake crap we get fed online from time to time. Great guy and great photography simple as that.

And yes ladies..he is as attractive in person as he is in his pics.

Fuck. Mine has been on the market since April 10th.

I know it will be worth it. In fact, the wait may very well have been for the better as I've changed some of my plans for the road trip and it's going to be even better than I thought. Whoo-hoo!

Because I am a big believer in dogs being allowed to retain their dignity and doglike essence (no funny outfits, please!), I promise not to post idiotic comments on their thread or bump it up. I hate clothing for dogs, Halloween costumes for dogs, anything that looks like anthromorphizing dogs. There are few things in this world more beautiful than a healthy, happy dog. Why project all our human BS onto them?

A few Halloweens ago, I said I wanted to dress my dog up in a dalmatian suit since I was in Cruella Deville attire. I didn't because A) it was too late to find something like that, and B) I got a lot of "But she IS a dalmatian"...apparently nobody understands the concept of a joke, as dumb as it may be. I hate people.
