Ekserb's picture thread

MMMMMMMMM well I like them and don't blame you I wouldn't post crap either, but it inspires me to get back into taking pics again for sure....well can't wait to see what else you come up with for us... :catroar:

Keep shooting and shooting and shooting! I try to take my camera everywhere I go, outside of work. (I'd take it to work, too, but I'm afraid i'd leave it in the truck and forget to lock the doors one day and come back to a big black bag full of nothing. Ack!)

..............

A book of your work would be nice... I could keep it under my bed for special occasions...

i may be really cheeky in admitting this, but one of your series was the inspiration for some of my scribblings. This last series may well turn out another.

Please, continue.

A better camera isn't necessary. Just use your imagination and turn off the built-in flash. Available light will almost always make for a better picture.

Thanks!

I thank you! I'm going to be adding a new section to the site. I'll be writing a blog as I travel around the country, taking pictures with just me and my dogs going to all the greatest national parks and scenic vistas of the USA.

This is still in the planning stages, but if it works out, I'll quit my job, sell my home, buy a small camper/trailer and just start driving.

Maybe the blog will turn into a book. It might be an interesting read for anyone who has ever wanted to drop everything and just travel the country or the world, but didn't have the nerve, or didn't have the ability.

I'm still scared that something terrible would happen and I'd be broke and homeless at this point in my life, but I'm really serious about doing this and it's only a couple months away if I do.

I'll try to update this thread along the way. Maybe some of you would like to give me a place to stay for a night or two if I pass through your area?

Model material? I don't know about that, but thanks a whole bunch! :)

As for the calendar, who would actually hang it in their home? Even a single woman might not want something like this on the wall if she were going to have guests! LOL

Well dont know about that. But you know as well as I do if its Art it can be displayed.
I think Mister February is quite artistic  :rose:

I've mentioned to Ekserb a long time ago that he should put out a coffeetable
type of book w/ some of his photographs in it, esp. the black and white ones.....it
would look sexy and classy ;)

I will definitely be going by CT to visit family in the area. I'll have to say Hi!

I was wondering if someone was going to comment on the ass pic. LOL

More plans

I did a little more thinking last night and here's some new details: After traveling around for six months, a year, whatever, I'll let my folks have the trailer so they can do a bit of traveling themselves. They can see a few relatives that they haven't seen in ages, and I can house-sit for them and take care of their dogs. This way I won't need to buy a new home right away, and I can probably set up my own gallery/studio in Ocala with whatever money I have leftover. If I'm able to find a small shop with some space that can be used as a home also, even better.

So, now the "after" is starting to come together. Now all I need to do is get the "before" done and I'll be on the road! Hopefully this will all begin before summer - I don't know if I can stand another summer on the job here in Miami.

I'll be aimlessly driving around, so anyone who would like me to stop by and say hi should follow Jen's lead and let me know. I'll try to plan some part of my travels to your area and we can meet!
