I am flattered, thank you!

I will keep watching... and I hope Wilma loses some of its fury before reaching you :rose:

I hope she loses some strength, too. It's looking better every day. The longer she sits on top of Central America and kicks their asses, the weaker she'll be when/if she reaches South Florida.

That, of course, sucks for the people of Central America, but it's good for us.

Look for the post-Wilma pics as soon as I can make them. :)

Hey ekserb!

It's so great to see you back again and posting your incredibly erotic black and whites. You have so many new ones that I added to my private stash. Thank you!

Hi! Nice to see you again. I'm glad you enjoyed the new B&Ws. I'll try to post some more of the old ones as soon as I get the chance. Now that I've figured out how to share the larger files, maybe you'll find some of the old ones in a larger size that you can use to replace some of the ones I have shared in the past. (I could even share some really big files, but I don't want to bog down the users with dialup connections. :) )

Today I'm installing a new hard drive RAID (bringing my total storage capacity to 1 Terabyte!) and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will go off without a hitch. My photography hobby requires a lot of hard drive space for the relatively large files I am dealing with nowadays, so the old drive was starting to fill up. I think I'll be all right (for a while) once I have the new drives installed.

Thanks to everyone for the support! I lost power during Hurricane Katrina for only about 30 seconds, but if Wilma maintains her intensity and hits Miami directly, I'm assuming there is going to be a lot more damage around here, so I'm also installing a massive backup solution to keep all my files safe and sound. I don't know what I'd do if I lost all my photos! :(

I do love the new b&w's but I also love your color pics as well. You have a rare talent with the camera and a smokin' hot bod to boot ;)

I know the value of having enough space for your pics. I have 3 hard drives piggy backed to keep all my graphics and other "junk". I take an incredible amount of photos and make up to 4, 5 or sometimes more copies that have been altered in different ways in Photoshop. I wish you luck in your installation and with your backup endeavors. I also wish you luck with Wilma and hope you have minimal to no damage. I live on the NC coast so I know what those hurricanes can do!

Take care and I'll be looking forward to more of your highly erotic pics soon.

Thanks so much for the compliments!

I don't know what kind of computer you're using or what model camera, but Apple Computer just announced a new piece of software this week and I'm very excited about it. It's called Aperture and it's designed for professional photographers who shoot digital RAW files with higher-end cameras (like mine). It allows a workflow from import to print or web that edits completely in the RAW file without first converting to some other format for edting. It's a amazing piece of engineering and many of the other Apple-using photographers are looking forward to getting their hands on it to see if it will live up to the legendary Apple hype. It's expensive ($500), but if it can do what it proclaims, it will definitely give Adobe Photoshop something to think about.

Sorry about the off-topic rant. I'm very excited! :)

This hurricane is taking its time getting here. We're all wondering here in South Florida if Wilma will ever make an appearance!

Here's a couple shots of an orchid my parents own. It's called a chocolate orchid due to the strong smell of chocolate from the flowers. The blooms are only about an inch-and-a-half across - these were taken with my relatively new macro lens.

Chocolate orchid 2

Enjoy!

That is a unique orchid....and they smell like chocolate! I wonder if they're
edible........ Doubtful though .......maybe you can enlighten me? :)

Please be safe as Hurricane Wilma passes thru Florida.......just watched on
the news & saw that the Keys are already starting to feel the effect.

Not edible, but the smell does make you want ice cream or cake. :)

The storm has mostly done its worst at this point. My power is out and I'm on a dialup connection with the laptop. No damage to the house, but the yard is a mess! I'll try to post some pictures when I get my DSL connection back.

Thank goodness you're okay! :) *hugs*

At least you can do dialup on a laptop in the meantime...very lucky!

Mmmmmmmm I'm sure the smell from those orchids would make me want
chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, or chocolate cookies :D

A scented orchid? Smelling of chocolate too?? I can OD on chocolate any day :D

I am awed by the detail and clarity of your photos. And enjoying each and every one... Thank you :rose:

Yes, the laptop is very convenient. Right now it seems like one of my best investments. :)

Speaking of cake and cookies, I'm having to eat food that I wouldn't normally eat except for dessert. Without power (still!) I'm afraid the ice cream will melt and the cake will get moldy, so I'm gorging myself on junk food. I'm sure I'll pay for it later, but it seems like a good idea right now. LOL

Thanks again for the compliments! Most of these are resized from images much larger. The pool pictures are my favorite - they were taken by a friend with my camera and my best lens. The original file sizes are 3000 x 2000 pixels and the detail on those is amazing. Every hair and pore is clear and sharp. I'll share some close-up crops if the power ever comes back on. I'm glad you're enjoying my photos!

How do you resize from such large files without the photos getting distorted? Do you save them with less resolution? They are amazingly clear and sharp now, can't think how they can get any better!!

It's easy to do in Photoshop. Initially, the images are a little soft from the resize, but I sharpen them a bit with a piece of software called Intellisharpen II and it cleans up the edges nicely.

I really wish the power would come back on. Hunching over this laptop sucks. Plus, it's getting dark now and I can't even read in the light coming in the windows.

So drink lots of water to balance out the sweets :)

Hope you're doing okay! :)

After looking at all your pics all I can say is... DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN... well guess I few more words too.. love the pics very yummy.. love the b/w ones...

Looking forward to your return :) :rose:

Thank you to all who have posted comments!

My power and phone/internet were just turned back on tonight, so I should have time for a little extra something tomorrow night. Check back then and see what happens!

Thanks again for the sympathetic words!

that's awesome, Ekserb! *hugs* So glad that the phone and power were
turned back on where you're at, and that you're okay! Am looking forward to more
pix when you do get the chance to post 'em up! :)

And here they are!

I took these after I had been at the beach all day and walking the dogs when I got home, so I was dripping with sweat and tanning oil. I hope no one minds the glistening skin. ;)

I propped a mirror on the window sill and held the camera in my right hand and used my left hand for ... well ... you know. The light flowing in through the windows around the mirror made for great reflections on the moist skin.

These are almost all cock shots, so those of you who prefer some face and other poses might be disappointed. There are also a couple of extreme close-ups and you might have a hard time guessing what body part is in the photo. Or not. ;)

Sweaty in front of the window:

I was thinking about you this morning Ekserb when I saw a story on GMA about the power in Miami projected as being off for weeks to come. I am so happy to hear that you have your power issues resolved and that you are back with us.

Looking forward to your next installment of awesome pics.

:)

Lots of people are still without electricity and the local power company has said it might be November 22nd by the time they get all of the power restored.

I work for BellSouth and we are on an eleven-hour/thirteen-day schedule to try and get all the broken wires back up on the poles where they belong. Normally I do DSL work, but they have cancelled all DSL jobs for a month so every technician can focus on the hurricane workload.

I'm just glad I can take a hot shower again! :)
