Hey hun,

great pics of the horses....your such a great photographer.... :p :catroar:

Well, those horses were exceptionally beautiful, so I can't take all the credit. ;)

Can someone take a look at my web page and tell me if it works? I know it works on a Mac, but I tried it at work with two different Windows computers and got an error trying to load the page. I just updated last night and the new site design might be broken.

If it doesn't work, let me know what OS you are using. Thanks!

Sorry, sweetie, doesn't work for me. I've got windows XP.
Here's the error I got:

Yeah, that's what I got at work, too. Thanks for the info.

Damn, that new design kicks ass, too. This is what I get for using inexpensive web design software (RapidWeaver).

It was working fine for me last I looked couple of days ago.... Windows XP here too... this is what I got today

Thank you! I like a woman who drools a lot! :)

I have to admit, this camera is one of the finest purchases I have ever made. Every time I use it I'm more and more impressed with its capabilities and the output is just amazing. I have always had a fondness for photography and since I got the 7D I have fallen in love with the art all over again. Of course, the new lenses every few months are going to drive me to the poorhouse sooner than later, but it's worth every penny!

I'm working up to a new digital. I just got a little 5 megapixel point and shoot that I'm pretty happy with. But I really want a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II. It's more camera than I need right now so I'm having trouble justifying buying it. I'll find a way to talk myself into it eventually :D

Thank you, ran. I just visited the software vendor's web site and found another person had the same problem with the same theme. It turns out that MSIE will not display the page correctly if I have a certain option turned on (it's on by default). So, I just turned it off and the site is updating right now. It should be working in a few minutes. Let me know if it works for you.

If you're in a hurry to see it, try using a different browser. Mozilla Firefox is MUCH better than Explorer, anyway.

Thanks again!

Jeez, I'll say! Are you sure you want to spend the money on that camera? I mean, it is a beauty, but that's an awful lot of camera to justify. I just priced it on the B&H Photo site ... $7349.95!!! Holy shit!

If you can afford it, by all means, get it! I can't wait to see what you can produce with it! Just remember that Michaelangelo could have decorated that ceiling with crayons if that's all he had to work with. :)

Now you see why I'm having so much trouble justifying the purchase! I'm like a guy in that I love my toys to have all the bells and whistles!! I've also looked at the Canon 20Ds....that's what I'll probably end up with for now.

Also a very fine camera. You won't regret it one bit.

See this is just one more reason to love this thread...I can be a photogeek and someone else understands. :D

i keep coming back to this thread b/c u take very beautiful photos. if i can request something, i think you have a great smile. is there anyway we can see more pictures of u smiling or just a casual picture?

I hope this is what you were expecting.

Self portrait

I hate self portraits. They are sooo hard to do. Or maybe I just have such impossibly high standards. :) Anyhow, I had to shoot about twenty images to get this one keeper. The focus was always off just a little bit and then the lighting wasn't cooperating. I'm still not completely happy with it, but I did need something to document how long my hair is getting. I think it's time for a haircut....

I love having someone else who likes to chat about cameras and such. I'm glad to have you around!

Well, I'll certainly hang around then.
And I love that last pic. A smile is such a sexy thing.

Oh, good. You do like it. Thanks! :) And thanks for the impetus ... I have been needing to take a new self portrait for a while.

You take stunning photographs Ekserb. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you very much! As many people on these boards know, most people are good at those things they enjoy doing, and I enjoy photography a whole lot! That other people enjoy my work is the icing on the cake. :)

I volunteered to work today (I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make double-time-and-a-half), but I was out by 4PM. I had dinner with my brother and his wife and her folks. It was a great turkey dinner and I felt completely stuffed by the time it was over. Good times.... :)

Glad to hear that you had a good Turkey day.

I forgot to post that I loved the last pics you posted. I'm too tired to come up with anything more eloquent than you are an amazing talent and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Have a good night. ;)
