So your saying I should have shelled out for them before they went up? It'll be back to the lined ones when I break these. What's the new price for the rose colored ones?
If that’s a joke, it’s very funny. If it’s not, then of course it’s not funny at all…

No, she was wondering whether you were making a pun in that earlier post. FWIW, I was wondering the same thing; I thought it was hilarious, too.

I was making a pun, but the glasses were bought years ago and I thought she'd bought a pair recently from what she said. OH, wait I quoted the wrong posting! This was the one I should have answered.
I just got new glasses. Not cheap as you say.

I thought she said they weren't as cheap as I said they were but she was agreeing with me about the price. I worried, and still do, by the time I buy new ones they'll have doubled rather than gone done in price. Amazon has a lot of tented glasses that claim they are for dyslexia. These are fairly cheap. I get mine through my eye doctor and they are also prescription lenses. I know they work because they do, I don't have nearly as much trouble as I have without them. However, there is a controversy surround them saying it's not just vision that is the issue. The glasses on Amazon are cheap, but they aren't prescription. The ones that had lines were roughly a $100 more than my prescription lenses. Those also worked. These are several hundred more than my prescription alone. I can't see those that are sold on Amazon as being correct to help. If you're dyslexic and don't need a corrective lenses give them a try. If have it, need glasses anyway, pay the extra that it cost and try those. They worked for me. I can't believe the $25 piece of shit glasses do a thing but that just me.

I'd strongly advise you to do everything you can to clean up the story before you send it to an editor. Write it, first pass edit it, do a second pass for your problem issues, and then use the free version of Grammarly for more cleanup. The less you ask your editor to do, the more they will enjoy editing for you, and the more likely they will be willing to do it again.

It’s like douching before anal.

I’m sorry for the confusion. As per @Voboy I couldn’t tell whether you were joking or not.

I can be a bit perplexing at times. Yes, it was humor, and it was also truthful. If these cheapies work, I'd sacrifice and type on a blurry screen. NO, I don't guess I would.

I’m not good with nuance, particularly on line 😬

I'm always interested in trying to help, especially new writers.

That said, time factors of course.

I am pretty open to editing strictly grammar/ spelling/ sentence structure stuff if it would be helpful.

Maybe... just a suggestion here... a Google Docs version where you could invite several editors who could scan it and offer tips, suggestions, corrections etc as they have time.

Oh... Hey! Funny seeing you here.

My name is Erotic4Emos you may remember me from such posts as "Why do they think I use AI to write my stories?" And... Well actually... That's all I've posted so far.

Bit about me:

Live in California, Married, come from an extremely unconventional background around sex. Grew up in LA in the early 2000s BDSM world. Now live north of there a bit. Super dyslexic, and am writing my first erotic serial called Beach City Family about... Well... Uh... It's actually about the fact that you can't really change what you want. It's a story that uses incest, group sex, bdsm themes told from the point of view of 3 women to convey those themes.

I have written about... I want to say close to 100 pages so far. I am stumbling my way through editing etc and may need some help here in the future.

What do I do when I'm not writing filth you might ask?

I am obviously a oil tycoon worth billions and certainly not a nerd who became a gym rat, with a two new kittens, and watches a lot of Star Trek, works a 9 to 5 at a tech company.
I'd be happy to help with the editing as well, if you're still in need of it?
