Editing Story Summary

Is there any way to edit the 60-character story summary? I tried doing via the regular editing process, whereby I resubmitted my story with the word EDIT at the end, corrected a few typos in the story itself, changed the story summary, & changed a couple of the categories. The edit was approved after 2 weeks, but the story summary was unchanged. Any thoughts?

Hmm. did you also leave comments in the optional notes box when you submitted?

Has it been at least 24 hours since the edit was approved? The site's pages are cached, and until that cache update processes, the public page won't reflect what's been changed in the database.

Yes, more than 24 hours. I don’t remember if I left comments. I’ll try it again.

Since you're not going to be editing the story text this time, put the change you want to make in the moderator notes box, and then copy it to the story text section as well. There has to be something in the story text section, but if you're only editing the description, there's no need to upload the text again.
