Edited story pending for review for a week, did I do something wrong?

Hi all,

Recently my second story got published (yaaay), right away, mostly due to help of a volunteer editor (I am not sure can I name names)... The problem is that I didn't notice that title of the story is wrong (nothing big, it just needed to be one character shorter and one extra caps lock letter).

I read FAQ, on how to edit an already published story - and as far as I understood, I need to make a new publishing request with word EDITED appended to story title.
Besides doing that, I also added an explanation of what went wrong and what I am trying to fix in the Note to Admin (optional, not published) field.

However, that story is pending for 7 days already for approval, no action on it, neither did my original story got edited.

I just have doubts did I do something wrong, or it's just busy time for editors?

You did all right. EDITs just take longer, the fresh meat will be served first

Try to be patient, in the end all will be good.

It can take up to 2-3 weeks for an Edit to go through.

All the edits are processed at once.
