Early review of "Fellowship"

I just read this review in US Weekly. The guy gave it 3 1/2 stars. I won't go through the whole thing, but, it basically said that the set was one of the best Fairy-tale set movie studios has ever imagined. It went on to say that, despite the movie lagging in LOTS of necessary backdrop, once the action gets going, the sequences rival anything that Speilberg and James Cameron have ever filmed.

I never put much weight to what critics say... but then again, I'm pretty easily entertained.

Same here. It's been a long time since I've read the series, but I think I've read them a dozen times or so over the years.

Yeah. I don't listen much to the critics, either. But, then again, it's good to have a positive opinion.
