can anyone help

how do i stop e-mail notifications being sent to my hotmail account every time i post something on the boards

I just had a shock when i had 167 messages

Click on Edit Options.

There is a place where you click off Email Notifications.

Just one more thing youneed to do before that mailbox stays empty -- change the e-mail notification on all of your post from BEFORE you set the default to NO.

Changing the defult for new messges won't stop you from getting e-mails from every thread you posted on before the change.

Click the "search" button at the bottom of one of your posts. Open each of the posts the search turns up, and click the "edit" button to clear the "E-mail Notification" checkbox in the options section of the editpost page.
