E-mail attachments

I use yahoo mail and sometimes when i recieve an e-mail with a large attachment i want to keep the e-mail, but delete the attachment from the e-mail.
Can i do this?
I save the attachment but leaving it in my mailbox takes up too much space. I'm too sentimental to delete the whole e-mail

Is there a way i can do it??

Simple solution......


Copy and paste the text you want to save into a new e-mail to yourself.


Or copy and paste the text into a word document and save on your hard drive.

Yea thanks, i thought of both ideas.

Just wondered if there was a way of editing an e-mail.

Depends on your mail program, but in outlook, you can delete the attachments, then, when you close the e-mail you will be asked if you want to save changes......say yes, ....
