Dungeons in London

I have a female friend who has just started University in London and she is looking to explore her submissive nature by joining a dungeon for training in London, has anyone had any experience of one and can give me a recommendation for her

But I'm afraid she's looking for something that doesn't really exist, the dungeon of the novels.

There are very few dungeons were 'women go to be trained,' really-- You would be a pro sub, like a pro domme, and you would be walking the edge of prostitution. Which is not a bad thing for anyone who is okay with that, just not what most women think of when they think about Roissey or Anne Rice's Eden.

Most dungeons are places where couples or groups go in order to indulge their common fantasies, using the facility's furniture and atmosphere. They are usually set up with an eye to the local sex ordinances, and one's play will be constricted by the laws of the land.

I am positive that London has a number of clubs, and I'm pretty sure that the American invention the "munch" has travelled there as well. She needs to meet other people who are into what she is looking for, and find herself some kindred souls.

There are quite a few fet clubs in London, Torture Garden is probably the best known. There are also a number of private, for hire dungeons. However I am not aware of anything that you describe in the area.
