I am on a medication that causes dry mouth. I have tried to stay hydrated, I use these products from biotene, mouth rinse, gum etc. but I don't get a lot of relief especially after a long night of sleep. In the morning my mouth is Yuk!

I know there will be some that will want to know if I tried cock therapy. Yes and while enjoyable it didn't provide a long term solution. So does anybody have any ideas that might help?

Sip tiny amounts of pickle juice. You might be able to get by just sniffing it.

What you're already doing is about it - Biotene is good (keep a small cup of it at bedside, if you wake up in the night take a sip), sucking on hard candies (yeah, yeah, I know, she's already tried that), etc. Also sour foods can help stimulate the salivary glands (I'm guessing this is where the pickle thing comes from).

Brush your teeth often. Besides just being annoying as fuck, having a dry mouth leaves you at risk for decay and gum disease. (For my patients who have dry mouths, we brush their teeth and use Biotene rinse every two hours during the day, and any time they wake up at night. Very soft brush and almost no pressure so you don't wear the enamel off your teeth.)

And stay well hydrated. Try water with a bit of lemon juice in it.

my mouth dries out too when i get too high off weed. also the percosets do it to me too
