Initially I wanted to post this in Ann's thread about cancer. But too much trolling over there.

Drug that fights aging, cancer, and radiation could reach market in 5 years
https://www.rt.com/viral/382198-drug-fights-cancer-radiation-aging/

“This is the closest we are to a safe and effective anti-ageing drug that’s perhaps only three to five years away from being on the market if the trials go well,” lead scientist Professor David Sinclair, of the Harvard Medical School said of the research, as cited by Sky News.

Researchers put drops of NAD+ into the water supply of a test group of mice and, within hours, their NAD+ levels began to rise. In just one week, muscle tissue samples taken from the older mice in the group were virtually indistinguishable from the younger mice and showed significant improvements in overall DNA repair.

“We can’t tell the difference between the tissues from an old mouse that is two years old versus a young mouse that is three to four months old,” Sinclair said, as cited by Time."

If so, how many people would be able to afford it?
And what about current concerns over overpopulation?

Everyone is a troll or stalking the OP.

Obsessed much?
I was referring to the fact that they were trolling Ann about her cancer, not myself.

But since you brought up the subject:
when you troll or start creepy threads about female posters - as I told you off several times, when you were trolling jezzillee or aphro, for example -

you're just as creepy as the other three or so male creeps who are inhabitting this board.

Think about it. The very first of the fat wide-screen televisions were prohibitively expensive for all but the most wealthy (or deranged when it comes to spending). But sales did nothing but increase exponentially while price dropped like a rock. Here in the US, even the poor now have them.

So it is with pricing. Cost won't be a factor for long...

If only.
Who's financing that research, therefore will be the intellectual property owner? The next richest and powerful corporation on Earth.
((You know that I'm a sucker for conspiracy theories))

We're living some startling times.
Things that we were reading about in sci- fi books just a few decades ago and never thought possible, are happening right now.

They're now raising chimeras in labs (pig slash human) for transplant material.
I'm waiting next for the reveal on all the UFO sightings. Are they some sort of millitary cloaking or fee energy secret govt. devices?

As I like to remind people, when my grandfather was born, there were no airplanes and before he died he saw a man land on the moon.

^^^Lunatic saw things.....maybe even had voices in his head

and you are following him

do you talk to your cat?

Im gonna take that shit

outlive you all

and make fun of you all when you KICK DA BUCKET

like I do to DEADWAVE and PEE PEE MAN:)

Lmao BB … :D

But seriously.
-- All those masses of people who saw UFO's at the same time - UFO's that were disproved as weather balloons or so on
shared delusions, you might say?

Gump is right as usual.

The most expensive drugs are those that treat the rarest of diseases. "Low demand" makes it awfully tough to generate a profit. Aspirin is cheap because everybody wants some and it isn't tough to make. NAD+ already exists commercially in supplement form.

If this current research results in a breakthrough, the obvious demand will produce a market health for the drug every bit as promising as the physical health benefits to the user. That means affordability.

I expect that is right. Not only that, this is one field where public pressure would be almost universally against Shkrelian price-gouging.

And what about current concerns over overpopulation?

Well, many acknowledge that as a problem, but few seem to think they are personally a part of that problem. Anyway, a drug that slows down aging will take time to have any noticeable demographic effects.

Stupid shit, people always trying to preserve life or find something to make someone better. Just live and die.

Prove youre female, EMERSON.

A lot of the box stores have $4 and even free (loss leaders) on the most common of medications.

;) ;)

Actually, national wealth reduces population growth and we see this in the West where birth rates are below sustenance levels and that is why they import so much cultural difference, to prop up the tax base for their lavish "Social Democracies" which are all a fucking Ponzi scheme...

With affluence and long life, the need for children will feel a deflationary pressure, hell, it's possible, as is the premise of many old-time Science Fiction novels/stories that that might be the key to our extinction.

Well, right now I'm pondering whether to put you on iggy or not.
You often make such thought provoking comments ( like in the other thread a few hours ago), but then you piss on them by making terrible racist comments or pulling silly shit like this.

Not that I'd care whether you place my value at more than two pennies, but this immature stuff is getting irritating.

I have PTSD I cant control myself. Its like being a thirsty nigger in a gook liquor store.

Well, I just signed up for weekly Lotto draws & going back to full+time next year, so my multi - millionairess plans for 5 to 10 years from now would be:

- age- defying drugs. Possibly 200.000 american dollars a year in the beginning. Which means 500.000 until prices drop.
- chin job, neck job, abdominal fat job, butt job. Probably 100.000 dollars.
- And if I'll look so young and sexy, maybe a set of dental veneers and a nose job. 50.000 dollars.

And I also need to leave something in my will for my extended family who are living in semi- poverty back home.
Oh well, maybe in their next life.

So start playing Lotto, my friends and mayybe you'll live forever.
