hmmm I can think of a few recipies for fulfilment

B's Chicken & Vegetable Pie
4 x cloves of garlic crushed
1 x brown onion diced
1kg diced chicken (thigh)
1 x leek sliced
1 x carrot diced
1 x zucchini diced
1 x celery stick diced
salt & pepper to taste
3 x chicken stock cubes
2 x tubs of double cream to bind
1.5 packets of sheet filo pastry... or as many sheets as will line your baking dish.... or make your own pastry from scratch (i'm lazy lol)
saute chicken, onion & garlic... then add the vegetables.
add cream and reduce then add salt, pepper and chicken booster
*if you are impatient like me and need to thicken up quickly, make a roux (equal amounts of flour & water cooked to make a paste... i used 2 tbs of each in my last pie - make sure roux is cooked thoroughly as nothing worse than the taste or raw flour!!)
bake pie in oven at 180 degrees celsius for about 40 minutes (160 degrees celsius if fan forced oven, then increase to 180 for last few minutes to create golden crust

lol! yes, that's EXACTLY what i used... although we have emu over hereOh no, the metric system of measurements. Now I'll never be able to try out this pie recipe.
And where in the world do you find a 1kg chicken thigh? Where are these gigantic chickens? Surely you are talking about an ostrich thigh.

i had a busy but brilliant day at work today... and am super proud of myself for getting an award today and wanted to share it all with you
