I saw it opening day.

I got in line two hours before the film.

They still have a drive-in where you are? I'm impressed. Although, really, the concept was doomed. In the summer, when it's warm enough, it doesn't get dark until 10:00. In the winter, when it gets dark early, it's too cold. But where else can you see Christopher Lee movies (including TLOTR).

Show starts at dusk, usually around 8:15ish. It's one of the last drive-ins around and it does great business! But that may be because the population tripples in the summer here. Plus there isn't much for vacationing families to do after dark with the kids. You can only play so much mini golf.
There's also a chinese food place right next to it. Doesn't get any better than cuddling in the back seat with a great double feature and some cashew chicken!!

I'm at the extreme western edge of the time zone, so yeah--it stays light late. Did I mention how much I miss the ocean?
